Terms of service
OVERVIEW
This website is operated by Ruler Attire. Throughout the website, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Ruler Attire and its legal owner, Unlimited Attire LLC.
Ruler Attire offers this website, including all information, tools, products, features, and services available through this website, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated herein.
By visiting our website, creating an account, subscribing to marketing communications, or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all users of the website, including browsers, customers, vendors, merchants, and contributors of content.
Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing any part of the website or purchasing from Ruler Attire, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access the website or use our Services.
Any new products, features, services, or tools added to the website will also be subject to these Terms. We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting revisions to this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and Services. Shopify allows merchants to publish Terms of Service, refund, privacy, and shipping policies through the Shopify admin.
SECTION 1 — ONLINE STORE ELIGIBILITY
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or jurisdiction of residence or that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use this website.
You may not use our products or Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You may not violate any applicable federal, state, or local laws while using the website.
You must not transmit viruses, malicious code, worms, or any other material intended to damage, disable, or interfere with the website or Services.
A breach of these Terms may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your access to the Services.
SECTION 2 — GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel Service to any person for any lawful reason at any time.
You understand that content you submit, excluding payment information, may be transmitted across different networks and modified to meet the technical requirements of connecting devices or systems. Payment information is encrypted during transmission through applicable payment-processing systems.
You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, exploit, or commercially use any portion of the website, Service, products, designs, photographs, graphics, or content without our prior written permission.
The headings used in these Terms are provided for convenience and do not limit or affect the interpretation of any provision.
SECTION 3 — ACCURACY OF WEBSITE INFORMATION
We attempt to provide accurate, complete, and current information, but we do not guarantee that all website content will always be accurate, complete, or current.
Information provided on the website is for general informational purposes and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making decisions.
The website may contain historical or archived information that is no longer current. We reserve the right to modify website content at any time, but we are not obligated to update every item unless required by law.
SECTION 4 — PRODUCTS, DESIGNS AND AVAILABILITY
Certain products may be available exclusively online and may be produced or offered in limited quantities.
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, restrict purchases, or cancel orders when reasonably necessary.
We make reasonable efforts to display product colors, textures, washes, distressing, gemstones, studs, embroidery, leather details, and other design features accurately. However, colors and details may appear differently depending on your screen, device, lighting, and display settings.
Because certain Ruler Attire products may be handmade, washed, distressed, dyed, printed, embroidered, embellished, or produced in limited batches, minor variations may occur between individual items. These minor variations are not necessarily defects.
Product descriptions, prices, measurements, release dates, availability, and other details may be corrected or changed without notice before an order is accepted.
SECTION 5 — SIZING AND FIT
Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable size chart and product measurements before completing a purchase.
Sizing and fit may differ between products, collections, materials, and silhouettes. A customer’s usual size in another product or brand does not guarantee the same fit in a Ruler Attire product.
Any fit descriptions, including “oversized,” “cropped,” “baggy,” “slim,” or “true to size,” are general descriptions and may fit each customer differently.
Returns or exchanges involving sizing are governed exclusively by our Refund and Return Policy.
SECTION 6 — PRICES AND PAYMENTS
All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and may be changed without notice.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product, promotion, discount, or Service at any time.
Applicable taxes, shipping fees, customs fees, duties, and other charges may be calculated or disclosed during checkout where applicable.
By submitting payment information, you represent that:
- You are authorized to use the selected payment method.
- The payment and billing information you provide is accurate.
- You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the total amount shown at checkout.
Your order is not guaranteed until payment has been authorized and the order has been accepted by us.
SECTION 7 — ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND CANCELLATION
We reserve the right to accept, decline, limit, hold, or cancel any order for a lawful business reason, including:
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment activity;
- Incorrect pricing or inventory information;
- Product unavailability;
- Duplicate or unusually large orders;
- Suspected resale activity;
- Violations of these Terms; or
- Inability to verify billing, shipping, or customer information.
Receiving an order confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted or shipped.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue any refund required under our applicable policies and law.
Once an order enters processing or fulfillment, cancellation or modification may no longer be available.
SECTION 8 — BILLING, ACCOUNT AND CONTACT INFORMATION
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, shipping, email, telephone, and account information for every purchase.
You agree to promptly update your information so that we can complete your transaction and contact you regarding your order.
We are not responsible for delays or communication failures caused by inaccurate contact information provided by the customer.
SECTION 9 — SHIPPING ADDRESS RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address at checkout.
Before submitting an order, you must review and confirm your:
- Full recipient name;
- Street address and apartment or unit number;
- City, state, and ZIP code;
- Country; and
- Contact information.
If you notice an address error, contact us immediately at us.ruler.attire@gmail.com. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered fulfillment.
If an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address was provided by the customer and the order has already been fulfilled or shipped, the order is not eligible for a complimentary replacement or refund solely because of that customer-provided address error.
If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect or undeliverable address, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping costs before the package can be resent. Original shipping charges may be nonrefundable to the extent permitted by law.
SECTION 10 — SHIPPING, DELIVERY AND CARRIER ISSUES
Shipping and delivery estimates are estimates rather than guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.
Once an order has been transferred to the applicable shipping carrier, tracking and delivery operations are generally controlled by that carrier. Customers should first contact the carrier associated with their tracking number regarding delays, delivery exceptions, missing scans, misdelivery, or other delivery concerns.
Ruler Attire is not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier disruptions, customs inspections, incorrect customer information, holidays, natural disasters, labor interruptions, or events outside our reasonable control.
However, nothing in these Terms eliminates any responsibility that cannot legally be waived. We will comply with applicable consumer protection and shipping laws.
Federal rules generally require online sellers to have a reasonable basis for advertised shipping timeframes. When a seller cannot ship within the promised timeframe, the seller may be required to obtain the customer’s consent to a delay or provide a refund for the unshipped merchandise.
Complete shipping information is available in our Shipping Policy.
SECTION 11 — LOST, STOLEN OR MISDELIVERED PACKAGES
Customers must monitor the tracking information associated with their orders.
When tracking shows that a package is delayed, missing, or misdelivered, the customer should contact the applicable carrier and follow the carrier’s claim or investigation process.
When tracking shows “delivered” but the customer cannot locate the package, the customer should:
- Confirm that the shipping address entered at checkout was correct;
- Check with household members, neighbors, building staff, mailrooms, and nearby delivery locations;
- Allow reasonable time for an early delivery scan to update;
- Contact the shipping carrier; and
- Contact Ruler Attire with the order number and carrier case information.
Submitting a carrier claim does not automatically guarantee a refund or replacement from Ruler Attire. Any assistance, refund, store credit, or replacement will be determined according to the circumstances, applicable carrier coverage, our policies, and applicable law.
We are not responsible for theft occurring after a package has been correctly delivered to the address provided by the customer, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
SECTION 12 — PRE-ORDERS AND PRE-MADE (ON HAND) PRODUCTS
Certain products may be sold as preorders, presales, backorders, or made-to-order items.
By purchasing a preorder or made-to-order product, you acknowledge that:
- The product may not be immediately available for shipment;
- Production and fulfillment timelines are estimates;
- Delays may occur due to manufacturing, material availability, freight, customs, quality control, or other circumstances;
- Products in the same order may ship together or separately; and
- You are responsible for reviewing the estimated timeline shown on the product page before purchasing.
If we cannot ship within the timeframe represented at purchase, we will provide any notice, delay option, cancellation option, or refund required by applicable law.
Pre-order cancellations, refunds, and exchanges are governed by the terms displayed on the applicable product page and our Refund and Return Policy.
SECTION 13 — RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
Returns, exchanges, cancellations, defective-item claims, and refunds are governed by our Refund and Return Policy.
Customers must review that policy before completing a purchase.
Products must satisfy all stated return requirements, including applicable time limits, condition requirements, packaging requirements, and authorization procedures.
Items that are worn, washed, altered, damaged after delivery, stained, scented, missing tags, or otherwise returned in a condition that does not comply with our policy may be refused to the extent permitted by law.
Products marked final sale, customized, made-to-order, clearance, or otherwise nonreturnable will not qualify for voluntary returns unless the product is defective or applicable law requires another remedy.
Shipping fees are nonrefundable unless our policy or applicable law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer right.
SECTION 14 — DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS
Customers must inspect their orders promptly after delivery.
Claims involving an incorrect, damaged, or defective item must be submitted to us.ruler.attire@gmail.com within 48 Hours after delivery.
The claim should include:
- The order number;
- A description of the issue;
- Clear photographs or video of the item;
- Photographs of the packaging and shipping label when relevant; and
- Any other reasonably requested information.
We reserve the right to inspect the information provided before approving a remedy.
Normal variation, intentional distressing, garment washing, fading, raw edges, handmade characteristics, and minor production differences consistent with the product description are not necessarily defects.
SECTION 15 — PROMOTIONS, DISCOUNTS AND GIFT CARDS
Promotional codes, discounts, giveaways, store credits, and special offers may be subject to separate conditions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Discounts cannot be combined;
- Discounts cannot be applied retroactively;
- Promotions have no cash value;
- Promotions may be limited by product, customer, location, or time;
- Promotions may be modified or discontinued where legally permitted; and
- Orders involving misuse of a promotion may be canceled.
Gift cards and store credits are governed by the terms displayed when issued and applicable law.
SECTION 16 — FRAUD PREVENTION AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
We may use fraud-prevention tools and order-verification procedures to protect customers and Ruler Attire.
We may request additional information to verify a customer’s identity, payment authorization, billing information, or shipping information before fulfilling an order.
If you do not recognize a charge or believe there is a problem with your order, contact us at us.ruler.attire@gmail.com so we can investigate.
You retain any lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or improper transaction with your payment provider. However, knowingly submitting false information or making a fraudulent payment dispute may violate these Terms and applicable law.
We may provide payment processors, financial institutions, carriers, or law-enforcement authorities with relevant order, tracking, communication, and account records when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud or respond to a payment dispute.
SECTION 17 — OPTIONAL AND THIRD-PARTY TOOLS
We may provide access to third-party tools, payment services, applications, social-media platforms, installment-payment providers, or other services that we do not control.
Third-party services are provided subject to the applicable third party’s terms and policies.
We are not responsible for the operation, availability, content, security, or practices of third-party tools except to the extent required by law.
Use of third-party tools is at your own discretion, and you should review the applicable terms before using them.
SECTION 18 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The website may include links to third-party websites that are not affiliated with Ruler Attire.
We are not responsible for examining or evaluating third-party content, products, websites, services, or practices.
Transactions conducted with third parties are between you and the applicable third party. You should carefully review the third party’s policies before completing a transaction.
SECTION 19 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content available through the website, including the Ruler Attire name, logos, designs, product graphics, garment artwork, photographs, videos, text, layouts, product names, marketing materials, and website content, is owned by or licensed to Ruler Attire and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, manufacture, sell, imitate, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit our intellectual property without prior written permission.
Purchasing a Ruler Attire product does not transfer ownership of the artwork, trademarks, copyrights, designs, or other intellectual property associated with that product.
You may share our public social-media content for personal, noncommercial purposes when the content is not modified and appropriate credit is provided.
SECTION 20 — CUSTOMER CONTENT, REVIEWS AND SUBMISSIONS
When you submit a review, photograph, video, testimonial, comment, suggestion, or other content to us, you represent that:
- You own the content or have permission to submit it;
- The content is accurate and not misleading;
- The content does not violate another person’s rights; and
- The content does not contain unlawful, abusive, malicious, or harmful material.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you grant Ruler Attire a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, display, and distribute content that you voluntarily submit to us or publicly tag us in for marketing, promotional, and operational purposes, subject to applicable law.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate.
SECTION 21 — EMAIL AND SMS COMMUNICATIONS
When you voluntarily subscribe to email or SMS marketing, you consent to receive communications from Ruler Attire according to the disclosures shown when you subscribe.
Marketing consent is not a condition of purchase unless expressly and lawfully disclosed.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link provided in the message. Commercial email is subject to federal requirements, including requirements relating to accurate sender information and a method for recipients to opt out.
You may opt out of SMS marketing according to the instructions provided in the messages, such as replying STOP where supported. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.
Transactional communications concerning orders, security, shipping, returns, or customer service may still be sent where legally permitted after marketing consent is withdrawn.
Automated promotional texts may require prior consent under federal communications rules.
SECTION 22 — PERSONAL INFORMATION AND PRIVACY
Your submission and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, shared, retained, and protected.
Shopify provides merchant tools for configuring customer privacy settings, but merchants remain responsible for reviewing their obligations in the locations where they operate and sell.
SECTION 23 — ERRORS, INACCURACIES AND OMISSIONS
The website may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccurate information, or omissions concerning product descriptions, prices, promotions, shipping costs, transit estimates, availability, or other matters.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel affected orders at any time, including after an order has been submitted, subject to applicable law.
If an order is canceled after payment has been collected because of an error, we will provide the refund required by applicable law and our policies.

- To interfere with the website’s operation.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for prohibited use.
SECTION 25 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, timely, or error-free.
We do not warrant that every product will meet every customer’s subjective expectations regarding fit, color, style, or appearance when the product materially matches its description.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
SECTION 26 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ruler Attire and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, Services, or products.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Some states do not permit certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, the applicable limitation will apply only to the extent legally permitted.
SECTION 27 — INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ruler Attire, Unlimited Attire LLC, and our affiliates, owners, officers, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, suppliers, and service providers from third-party claims arising from:
- Your material breach of these Terms;
- Your unlawful misuse of the website or Services;
- Your violation of another party’s rights; or
- Content you submit through the website.
This section does not require a consumer to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct, negligence, or obligations that cannot legally be transferred.
SECTION 28 — SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent legally permitted.
The unenforceable portion will be severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
SECTION 29 — TERMINATION
These Terms remain effective until terminated by you or us.
You may stop using the website at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, interfered with the website, or created a risk to Ruler Attire or another person.
Any obligations or liabilities incurred before termination will survive where appropriate.
SECTION 30 — ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Refund and Return Policy, product-page terms, and other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ruler Attire regarding your use of the website and purchase of products.
A failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.
Any ambiguity will be interpreted according to applicable law and will not automatically be construed against either party solely because that party drafted the language.
SECTION 31 — GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and any separate agreement through which we provide products or Services will be governed by and construed according to the laws of the State of Georgia and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent legally permitted, any legal action arising out of these Terms, the website, or a purchase from Ruler Attire will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Houston County, Georgia.
You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms periodically by posting a revised version on the website.
Changes become effective on the date shown at the top or bottom of the revised Terms unless otherwise stated.
